Create Hexagonal Boron Nitride Nano Powder (Hexagonal Nano Bn)

Particle Sizes & Morphology
During direct synthesis, boron nitride nanoparticles (plates) are obtained, the sizes of which vary from 10 to 100 nm, the thickness is 2-5 nm
  • "Z" potential of boron nitride is about 46, which determines the good stability of the obtained colloidal solution.
  • After ultrasonic treatment, the average size of nanoparticles is 20-25 nm, and the thickness is 2-3 nm.
  • Despite the low synthesis temperature (125-150 C), the obtained product is a turbostrate form of hexagonal boron nitride.
  • The method used by us allows us to use pure precursors, & if inert materials are used for the synthesis reactor (e.g., pyrolytic graphite), pure boron nitride is obtained, & the product is purified from precursor residues in a vacuum at 200-230 C.
