Create Hexagonal Boron Nitride Nano Powder (Hexagonal Nano Bn)
During direct synthesis, boron nitride nanoparticles (plates) are obtained, the sizes of which vary from 10 to 100 nm, the thickness is 2-5 nm
- "Z" potential of boron nitride is about 46, which determines the good stability of the obtained colloidal solution.
- After ultrasonic treatment, the average size of nanoparticles is 20-25 nm, and the thickness is 2-3 nm.
- Despite the low synthesis temperature (125-150 C), the obtained product is a turbostrate form of hexagonal boron nitride.
- The method used by us allows us to use pure precursors, & if inert materials are used for the synthesis reactor (e.g., pyrolytic graphite), pure boron nitride is obtained, & the product is purified from precursor residues in a vacuum at 200-230 C.
